Up for sale is a 1999 Ford Taurus SE 4 door sedan. This vehicle runs and drives well but needs a new radiator and temperature sensor in order to drive daily or in traffic. Exterior: The vehicle is silver in color and is in good condition. There is one small patch of surface rust that has started to penetrate just above the rear passenger wheel well. The paint has some scratches, chips, scuffs, bubbling in some places. The driver side door handle needs to be oiled, it sticks sometimes when you open the door. The vehicle is a NY car so, under carriage has normal rusting. Interior: The power windows work with the exception of the passenger window. The AC/Blower works but will need to be recharged with refrigerant. The heater blower works but does not heat due to radiator. The interior is cloth and is great shape with no tears or rips. The carpets are in great shape, with some minor stains. Engine: The engine has 111,007 original miles. The car drives nicely with no major problems. The service engine light is on, as the vehicle needs to be serviced. The vehicle is experiencing some overheating problems. It needs a temperature sensor and a new radiator. The previous owner put in "Stop Leak" and I believe that it has clogged the radiator, causing the overheating problems. I don't believe the coolant is circulating within the radiator. The fix will cost about $ 250 if you can perform your own maintenance. Tires: The tires have about 65% tread and should pass inspection no problem. The vehicle was just inspected a few months ago. The brakes are in good shape. Summary: The vehicle has new headlight lenses, wiper blades. I have done my best to describe the problems with the car.The reason that I am selling the vehicle is because I just moved to NYC and I no longer have the ability to perform my own service/repairs. The vehicle is being sold well below blue book because of the work that needs to be done to it. The vehicle does not come with any warranties and is being sold "AS IS". Payment / Pickup: A $ 50.00 non refundable deposit is required within 24 hrs from the auction. This is to encourage serious bidders. The remaining balance can be paid within 7 days from the end of auction. Payment can be made by PayPal, Money Order, Cashiers Check or Cash at Pickup.
