1965 Ford Mustang Up for auction is my very clean and original 1965 Ford Mustang coupe. This is a great example of an unmolested, California-built Pony car that has never left the state and has NO rust issues. This is a matching numbers car with original dive-train and factory color combo. Car has been in storage most of its life and I was told by the previous owner the mileage is original to the car. It reads 38K and judging by the car’s condition when I got it I believe it might be true. Car has been repainted once with correct factory paint code and I’ve changed out some of the chrome trim and interior components. I went through the drivetrain and replaced a few gaskets and changed all the fluids as well as did a full tune up. When I removed the valve cover everything looked extremely clean so if the 38k miles aren’t original then the engine was rebuilt not too long ago. Runs excellent and starts every time on first key turn. Has a dealer installed A/C system, the interior blower works fine and I think all it needs to operate is a compressor belt and a system recharge. This Mustang is very reliable and gets awesome gas mileage. I changed out the brakes, shocks, and ball joints so rides smooth and handles great at all speeds. Engine sounds healthy and has plenty of power, auto trans shifts very smooth as well. Car has all original glass in great shape. It’s got all original sheet metal with perfect ¼ seems between fenders, doors, hood & trunk indicating the car has never been in an accident. Solid floor pans, frame rails, wheel wells, and torque boxes. Doors open and close perfect with no sagging which is common on older mustangs. All 4 windows go up and down fine. New weather-stripping throughout the car. Electrical in great shape as well, even the original AM radio works! I’ve got a clean CA title in hand ready to be transferred to the new owner.
