Up for auction is this 1981 Datsun/Nissan 280ZX Turbo. Car is completely original with 119,000 original miles. Originally bought by a Dr. and he owned it most of its life taking great care of it. Six cylinder engine with turbo and auto transmission. Car shifts perfect and turbo pulls hard. Very quick and smooth running car. I took this car in on trade and have far to big of a family for it to suite my needs. I am a mechanic by trade. I have driven this car enough personally that i am comfortable giving it an accurate honest description. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere it runs and drives excellent! The individual that i received this car from was using it as his daily driver to and from work. Car cosmetically, as far as interior condition and exterior condition, is very nice but not perfect. Dash has two cracks as can be seen in pic and interior has slight sun fade but no rips or tears except for a small hole worn into drivers side carpet. In the back hatch area, as can be seen in pics, there is some separation of material but overall interior is very nice for the cars age. Exterior paint looks great, still shines nice but car does have normal scuffs and small scratches as can be expected. No actual body damage of any kind present on vehicle. The only place that i could find any rust on this car is where the spare tire is located in the car. I included a pic of this area. The rest of the car is rust free and very solid. Included some pics of underside of car the best i could. Also hood appears to be the only part of car with very slight hail damage. Very slight hardly noticeable but is there so i feel i should mention it. Windshield and all glass is in good shape. Tires are a matched set of Goodyears with excellent tread on all four tires. One wheel is missing its original center cap. Spare tire and all jack components are in vehicle as can be seen in pic. Car has power windows that work great. T-Tops that are removable and don't leak. Do not have the factory covers for T-Tops. Cruise control works. Air conditioning blows cold. Heater works great. Factory stereo works and power antenna goes up and down as it should. All new brake shoes and pads just recently installed on car. Could use rear struts at some point just never got around to doing them. Engine does not smoke,knock,overheat,or leak any fluids. As i stated earlier, this car runs and drives fantastic and the winning bidder can easily drive it home. Fly in and i will pick you up from airport no problem. Shipping cost and set up is the responsibility of winning bidder. I will require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end to be placed into Pay-Pal account and then remainder to be paid in cash at date of pick up.
