1964 Ford Country Sedan Station Wagon I am listing this extremely cool wagon for a friend of 40 years..... Here are the details: Originally from Virginia...bought 4 years ago and stored for the past 2 years -climate controlled. Factory 3-speed manual transmission swapped for a C-4 Automatic with Lokar floor shifter. Clutch pedal is still intact but all the original linkage, clutch, and transmission are long gone. Mileage is believed to be original at 71,846 ! The car has a smooth running 289 cu.in. V-8 with a 2-Barrel Carburetor...recently tuned. Recent improvements include new brakes, cap , wires, points, and rotor. The paint appears to be mostly original...with that great patina everyone looks for ! The interior upholstery is all original in great shape with the back seat still in clear 60's plastic ! Headliner is in phenomenal shape with nice chrome support bars. The AC system is all there but currently non-functional...very "Cool" period piece. Original Bias-Ply Spare Tire !! This is one seriously nostalgic wagon that can be driven as-is and turn heads at the local Cruise... Or...you can do a full restoration on this mostly original vehicle. She is extremely solid... with mostly surface rust in the usual problem areas. The passenger quarter panel requires the most attention.
