This truly is a rare find in Northern Ohio, a RUST FREE Honda Civic Coupe, with a 5-speed!. The car spent its entire life in sunny Arizona. It was driven back to Ohio 18 months ago, where it was parked and not driven. This would be a great driver or an excellent track car! It is truly a diamond in the rough. The car is a 1996 Honda Civic DX Coupe. It came from the factory with a 5-speed transmission, no power windows, no power mirrors, no power steering, but it does have the factory power sunroof and COLD A/C! The car has NEW tires, exhaust and battery. It has a very nice Kenwood headset, with very nice panasonic speakers, factory original sizes, and they sound amazing. The stereo was professionally installed lower in the center console, with the existing radio spot left empty, in an effort to deter Phoenix Arizona stereo thieves. The interior is nearly mint, super clean and never smoked in. It has all new carpeting, and the front seats were recovered with micro fiber, as were the gear shift boot, headliner, center console and some of the interior plastic. It really looks amazing, and it was all installed by a professional. No hack jobs here. The visors were removed to be covered in micro fiber, but they were never completed and they now sit in the trunk. The rear side windows are tinted, as is the rear windshield, but the windshield is starting to bubble a little bit. The exterior of the car is rust and dent free, except for a small ding on the front hood (see pic). The body has been repainted at some time, but the paint looks great, it was definitely done by a pro. There is a spot on the rear where the paint cracked, I'm assuming from the Arizona sun (see pic). Also, the paint on the front bumper is crackling (not flaking), I'm assuming not enough flex additive was added to the paint at the time it was painted. The entire body is in great shape, all around and under. Did I mention that it's a RUST FREE Arizona car? The antenna is missing, as is the side molding. The molding on the doors could use some touching up. It looks like a clip is missing on the passenger side front bumper cover, but I'm pretty sure theres extras in the trunk. Also, there is a crack along the very bottom of the windshield. It runs and drives great! It does have a couple of quirks from sitting though. The car fired right up after 18 months, and it runs and drives great. The front brakes were new when parked, but rotors need replaced after sitting, they are beat. Also, the check engine light came on (some emissions code) and the clutch bearing is quite noisy. The clutch works fine, but the bearing is noisy when driving with gears engaged. Also, the speedo and odometer aren't working now. The mileage is accurate, they both worked when the car was parked 18 months ago. All the fluids have been checked, the car is ready to drive as is, but needs some TLC. There are some goodies that come with the car. These include an installed suspension bar in the trunk, and additional suspension bars for the front. Also, a brand new set of lowering coil-over springs are included. All in all, it is a great car that will last a long time and be a lot of fun. It's not bad yet, and these are a very easy fix. I just want to make evryone aware.
