Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Take yourself back to your glory days with this fast, powerful, fully completed, head turning, eye catching, ear grabbing 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. I purchased this beauty in 2007 for $12,500 and have had everything re-done that was necessary and made many upgrades (mostly performance). I put another $10,000 plus into this car. Here is what has been replaced: clutch, shocks, alternator, battery, engine heads and carburetor, ignition, hood scoop is functional, seats, chrome fuel line, rocker arm and push rod, valve covers, cam shaft, rod bearings, main bearings, headers, water pump, hi pressure oil pump, in chassis engine overhaul, dual exhausts, pistons, distributor cap, ring set, engine damper, engine mount, door hinges. The heads, carburetor and ignition are high performance. All seats were removed and rebuilt and re-upholstered and feel great and are beautiful. The car is very simple because there are no t-tops to leak and no a/c to break as well as no power windows or locks. It is all manual. This car is a hot rod for the speed enthusiast, but is very classy and all of the ladies love it! The engine is easier to work on because there is no a/c and the car is lighter because of this as well. The odometer shows over 97,000. The true mileage is unknown. However, it has been just about 500 miles since the in chassis engine overhaul. Treat yourself like a man and drive this beauty!!!!! The engine roars and hums like your dreams, it sounds like a race car and you will get all the attention you deserve. There is a bit of pre rust on one of the doors. This car did have body work done to it prior to my purchase. There are spots where "the trained eye" can detect this. However, as you can see from the pictures it shows great, as the paint job came out great. This is a very reasonably priced classy hot rod from your glory days and a great value for the price. Please contact me with any questions or make an appointment for a test drive! The car runs great and is mechanically sound. It is not a show car. It is "turnkey"
