Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my Beautiful 21 year old Mercedes Benz 560 SEC. It's a 1991 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC in very, very good to excellent condition. I purchased this car on 12/12/2003 from the Mercedes dealer in Appleton, WI. at the time it had 42,250 miles on it, today it has 51,760 miles on it. I will more than likely put a few more miles on it before it is sold. The car is garage kept at our seasonal home in Florida. The clock does not work and there are two very small cracks in the wood on the console. There is only one very small dent behind the passenger door, it is so small that I probably would need to point it out to you. The car was recently serviced with Mobile 1 oil. The transmission was serviced a couple of months ago with synthetic oil, a new pan gasket and tail shaft seal. The AC has been upgraded to the new freon spec's. The car runs and shifts like you would expect a Mercedes to do. I have the records since I've owned the car and the records of what the dealer did before he sold the car to me. The photo's that you are looking at are the same photo's that were used by the dealer from whom I purchased it. The car looks just as good now as it did then. I figured if the dealer thought the Mercedes was good enough for his show room floor, than it was probably good enough for me, as I'm very picky. I paid $19,000.00 for the Mercedes delivered to Texas, it may be worth that now, but I'm asking far less than that. When I purchased the car the dealer installed a new set of Continental tires, they are still on the car. The spare is the original Pirelli. Also the dealer thoroughly inspected the car to determine condition and safety, the dealer replaced the v-belts and installed a new battery. I've put a couple of Mercedes batteries in it since then. The car has power memory and heated seats, both driver and passenger. The car has a built in, working K40 Radar Detector, that the original owner had installed. The car has a factory installed Mercedes brand CD player in the trunk and it has the original MB radio with theft code, both work fine. I have 2 original keys, the original window sticker and the original manuals. The Mercedes tool kit is still in the trunk. I spoke with the original owner before I bought the car from the dealer, he told me that he drove under the tail gate of a truck and damaged the hood and he said there was no other damage to the car. If the previous owner had not told me this I would never had known it. I've looked at it and I can't tell there was every any damage to the hood or any other part of the car. You are welcome to come or send someone to inspect the car. The engine compartment has never been detailed. This car has never seen rain since we have owned it. The Mercedes will be washed, waxed, vacuumed and the gas tank filled for the new owner. This Mercedes Benz is a heavy luxury car and it is fast. It has the 5.6 liter engine. The only reason I'm selling this car is because of the size of our garage here in Florida. It is a car and a half garage and I have the Mercedes and two golf carts in it and it's just to tight. I need a smaller car. The title is clean. It is a Texas title as that is my permanent home. The car is in Florida. Should this be the type of car you would like to own, bid with confidence, the reserve price I have on her is fair. She originally sold for $85,000.00 She is being sold as is, but she's still sweet. Only serious buyers should bid on this car. You can bid with confidence, I have... described this car correctly. You are welcome to look at the car to satisfy yourself of the condition of the car. If you need more info let me know. Please note: The car needs to be picked up on or before the 27th of April 2012. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding
