This 1983 Porsche 944 is incredibly clean, drives smooth, and mechanically sound. I received this car as part of a trade and do not have room for it, so it needs a new home. This is the first year for the 944, comes stock with a 2.5 liter engine, 150HP, 4 cylinder, 5 speed. The cylinders have ceramic sleeves so they should last up to atleast 300,000 miles. The car weighs in just under 2800lbs and is nearly perfectly balanced with 49% of the weight on the front axle and 51% on the rear. The 944 has an easily removable sunroof making weekend cruising a breeze, and it's light weight combined with an efficient 4 cylinder also doubles as a terrific daily driver. The exterior paint is in great shape, the body is straight, no rust, quite impressive for its age. The interior has a few cracks on the dash, the driver seat has a small tear on the side, and normal wear in both front seats. The back seats look practically new, carpet in the back is a bit sun bleached as expected.
