For sale a 1981 Honda Civic sedan with a 1.5 liter engine. I purchased this vehicle Fall of 2011 with the intent of using as a daily-driver and slowly restoring it. In January 2012 I purchased a pickup and this 'lil guy has been sitting since. In the time that I had it the following was done: Top to bottom engine rebuild, including bearing, rings, gaskets, seals, new piston heads, bore/hone, valve seals. Original carburetor was pulled along with supporting accessories to accommodate a new Weber carburetor. New tires were purchased. New battery. New fuel pump. After sitting for the couple months this guy doesn't start, I'm thinking it's the alternator and there's a leak from the rear main.  It was driven everyday before so the rotating assembly in the engine is fine.  The carburetor needs to be tuned. The car passed emissions in November which was some time after the rebuild. This car just needs a little love. My time is being consumed else where otherwise my plans were to strip it down and class it up a little with a fuel injected engine. When it gets going it's one zippy little car. I invested a lot of time and money already into this car and I know I won't be able to sell it for as much as has been spent on it which is probably about $3500.  I'm also including all the spare parts, receipts and manuals I accumulated.
