Vinyl top moldings stripped and painted Inner Dash and package tray molding stripped and powder coated The Cougar was in the process of getting panels stripped to bare metal and lightly primed. I also had been working on fixing minor dings and dents. Passenger fender and Door were stripped and epoxy sealed. Have a second door for the passenger side that is the original that needs to be stripped and have the molding holes welded shut. Body has minor rust in truck area at the drains. Floor pans are solid as well as the cowl area. The roof skin was replaced due to rust from the original vinyl top. Quarter panel on drivers side was also replaced when the roof skin was being replaced all work was performed at a local custom body shop. Rear filler panel along the bottom of the window channel has had the rust removed and could be sealed up by welding the holes up which can be seen in the photos. With that in mind the interior is in need of a better dash pad ,carpet and door Panels. The previous owner had the engine balanced and rebuilt I have the original receipt for balancing of engine components.Transmission was rebuilt professionally at local performance transmission shop. and has less then 30 miles in service.Passenger door and fender are off the car plus the front and rear glass at this time.Car runs and drives ,but will need to have the suspension aligned never had it done after replacing the suspension. Carburetor will need a tear down and clean up because of old fuel in the tank while it was in storage at the local body shop. This has been my project car on and off for almost 3 years had a traveling job so it was a slow process. I have about $15000.00 into to the car and I am looking to recover a third of I have in it while finding a good home for her. Would not be getting rid of her but I really need to come up with some funding to buy my first home so I need to let go of her.I have tried to give the best and most accurate description of condition of this project car. I do have all receipts from the last three years to prove how much has been invested into my Cougar. With that being said I will be selling this Cougar as is with no warranty implied. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Any questions call (661) 972-0719
