The X50 package consists of upgraded turbochargers, intercoolers, engine software, etc and added $17,000+ to the cost of the car new. The X50 package cannot be retrofitted to a "regular" 911 Turbo, and the result is 450HP and 457lb-ft of torque, making this car a SHOCKINGLY powerful automobile. I spoke with the service manager at our local Porsche dealer, and he said in all the years he's been with Porsche, he's only seen a handful of X50-package 911 Turbos- it's a rare car indeed! If you're considering a 911 Turbo, why not get the best of the best? I have the last three years of service records at the Porsche dealer which come with the car. This car comes loaded with equipment, as all 911 Turbos are, including the 3.6L Twin Turbo engine, 6-speed manual transmission, AWD, sunroof, leather upholstery, PSM (Porsche Stability Management), Bose premium radio, sport seats and much more. This car is one of the quickest-accelerating, fastest and most-powerful automobiles ever produced, and it comes from a long line of high-performance 911 Turbos, starting back in the 1970s with the 930. At the time, this 996-series Turbo was the most refined, most powerful and most capable of any Porsche built. This car was owned by a NY physician and was recently traded for new Turbo. The car is in beautiful, clean and very nice condition throughout. Both Carfax and Autocheck are clean, with no accidents shown. The car carries a NY state inspection sticker good through next month. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash, no oil leaks and everything works, including the A/C (ice cold). All of the electronic functions are working properly. The car runs, drives, stops and idles smoothly and powerfully. The car looks truly gorgeous. There are no dings or dents down the side of the car- it is perfectly straight and clean. All of the body panel gaps are perfect and the car looks clean, straight and has obviously been well cared-for. All of the 18" Turbo wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash or scrapes. The tires are Pirelli PZeros with very usable tread remaining. This is a superb piece of engineering and machinery. I don't think there is an automobile built which combines the same exhilarating performance with comfort, luxury and reliablity. These cars can take an all-day session at the track just as comfortably as they can commute in city traffic. I have the clean and clear title in hand, ready to transfer. This car is a 2002, not a 2012 and as expected it isn't brand new. The lower "chin" spoiler has scraped a few times and is cracked a bit. There has been some professional repainting, particularly the hood which is prone to stone nicks. The car has only normal, expected minor wear given the age and mileage. This car runs beautifully, and while it is shockingly powerful, it is also very compliant and easy to drive. The clutch has been upgraded to a ceramic unit, which behaves as expected- a high, short travel between engaged and disengaged. The car is easy to drive once you get the feel for it. Treat youself to a superb piece of machinery which is also very rare. You will not find many X50-package 911 Turbos for sale- it was only offered from 2002-2004 and at $17,000+, not many were ordered this way. I'd be shocked to see more than a few for sale in the entire country.
