Vehicle Detail
The vehicle is from a smoke free environment. My father-in law purchased her new in 1/99, and I bought her from him 11/01 where I've owned her since. She is a Texas truck, white with gold lower trim. She is a 4x4, with a tow package. She has never been in a wreck. She is adult driven only. She spent her first 2 years in the country west of Fort Worth and has been in the suburbs of Dallas/Fort Worth ever since. She has pulled a flat bed trailer a couple of times, but no boats or anything heavy. She is our our grocery getter and commuter for family vacations. She has made a dozen trips to AZ plus a few to NM, UT, and MN and back. I've included a copy of the window sticker with the photos. She is fully loaded, and everything is original except for the bug deflector I've added. She starts on the first try everytime. She has a factory cd player and stereo, leather, power front heated seats, front and rear air conditioning and heat. New Bridgestone Dueller 60k mile tires Mar. 2012; new transmission fluid with filter change and new idler pulley Mar. 2012; new front and rear air conditioning 2011; new modern headlights bulbs (brighter white) 2011; new wiper blades 2011; new ignition wires, cap, and distributor in Sept. 2011; new computer in Oct. 2011; new battery 2011; new u-joints Oct. 201o; new shocks Nov. 2009; transmission rebuild Dec. 2009; new driver window motor 2010; new ball joints in 2007, new water pump and hoses in 2006; new radiator in 2007, new fuel pump 2005. I change the oil myself and only use Mobil synthetic. She has the third seat and air bags for the driver and passenger. Everything works. The stereo has a burnt bulb and only half the stereo buttons illuminate when the lights are on at night. I haven't bothered to replace the bulb(s). The top of the dash has a crack in it (just cosmetic and came from nowhere), and I put a on a dash pad on the dash when it occurred in 2011. The right rear cargo door was replaced in 2003 after I dented it it while backing down a trailer to the right with the cargo door open. The replacement door was originally black then painted white. Some of the paint is chipping around the handle of this door. See photos. She has some normal dings down the side of the car and some hail damage on the hood from the 2011 hailstorm last spring in Fort Worth. I consider these dings to be minor. See photos. The left rear fender flare has some small rub marks. See photos. The interior ashtray on the left rear passenger seat is missing the lid (I have spare in gray) and the front passenger captain chair has a small tear along the right hand side of the seat. See photos. The interior is clean and looks really good. Headliner, door panels, seats and carpet again all look really good. Original factory tint is still great. She is a clean vehicle, and shows pride of ownership. She passes emissions each year. No fault, trouble or service engine codes appear on my car handheld diagnostic tool. I hate to part, but I have 4 vehicles. I have a son who needs his own car and the insurance is too expensive to allow him to drive it even through USAA. BTW, we drove her to Monument Valley, Utah; Flagstaff, Kingman and Tucson, AZ and back to Fort Worth in December last year. I used the 4-wheel drive twice. Once in Utah where the John Wayne movies and others were filmed and going up and down the mountain for snowboarding at Flagstaff. She ran and still drives very well as always. She has never been driven inappropriately or rough. Thanks for looking.
