1984 Mercedes 300CDT Coupe Diesel Turbo Automatic with 277,000 miles on the clock and fondly known as Winnie. Re-listed due to previous auction issues. Imported from Germany to California (LA), with the last seven years in New Mexico. No rust! Mechanically sound. Work performed on this single owner vehicle over the last five years includes new struts, complete new front end suspension, engine mounts, valve adjustment, transmission overhaul, new AC, radiator, belts, new battery & new headlights due to a stone chip. This Turbo Coupe is a rare find. Some cosmetic details - a little bump in the passenger door (see passenger fender picture: the decorative stripe can be re-attached it just needs the little plastic grommets) which in no way effects the vehicles soundness, but does account for the nature of the New Mexico re-title as salvage which happened under my ownership. I have been told this can be changed. Winnie turns heads without a doubt! In cherry condition i have seen these fetch over $15k on ebay. Fully converted to run on veggie oil with a single tank system this car runs on Waste Vegetable Oil [WVO], Biodiesel, regular diesel or a mixture of all three. This is the third car I have converted to run on vegetable oil. I have been all things veggie oil and biodiesel for the last 10 years. This auction also includes a free complimentary copy of my Bio-Diesel Processor Manual that provides a step-by-step guide on how to build a processor for under $500. I like to run Winnie on a 80/20 mix of used filtered vegetable oil and biodiesel and/or regular diesel. The tank holds just over 21 gallons so if you drive steady at 70-75mph you'll get 39mpg which is over 800 miles per tank. Other features include tow hitch (I've been pulling a nice little 6 foot trailer which could be negotiated into the final price if you are interested), newer tires, tint, Blaupunkt cd stereo, engine block heater, moon roof and ice-cold A/C. This sale includes a 50 to 6 micron electric powered grease pump that takes all the sesame seeds etc., out of your collected WVO and puts nice clean oil straight into the tank; a hand pump just in case; two 15 gallon containers for storage; and five 5 gallon grease containers that neatly fit in the trunk for transportation, or long haul trips; plus grease filters for both the pump and car, oil filters and various other bits and bobs. All filters can be purchased through a local outlet or online. This deal includes approx. two years supply of filters. I have driven this car to the East and West coasts and spent NOT ONE DIME while hooking into the carbon cycle and NEVER breaking down. It can't get much better than that!
