Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice, solid1963 Buick Lasabre Convertible 401ci V8 This car is beautiful! It's been stored in a garage all year around. It starts up like a charm every time you put the key in and turn her over, with help from the electric fuel pump we put in it. It runs great, and drives and handles beautifully. It's been in our family for over a decade. But due to medical bills, unfortunately we have to let it go. This is a absolutely beautiful car! Details: - 401 cid V8 (runs very strong, very smooth, and is very clean) - 81,950 original miles - Electric Fuel Pump was installed a few years ago. She start wonderfully! Turns over immediately - Two-speed Turbine Drive automatic transmission - Dual exhaust - Complete NEW Power Break system - Good tires - Glass is all good - Bucket seats - Exterior is Black - Interior is two tone Red & White, and is in fair/good condition (as seen in pics) - carpet is all good - the dash panel is in good condition - Deluxe Power Steering Wheel - Trunk is very clean and solid - Adjustible Speed indicator - Chrome is all in good condition - Good clean solid body - Good solid under carriage - Original owners manual! - New battery - Recently had a oil change, tune-up, and plugs The body is very solid, and in very good general condition. But due to a dead tree branch breaking off and falling down, landing on the ground along side the right side of the car, a few minor dents were acquired from the branches reflex after hitting the ground. I have had the entire damage professionally looked at, and was told that all was minor body work that could be very easily taken care of, with the exception of the front passenger quarter panel .I've closely documented all of these areas in the pics I provided. Details: There is a dent on the upper front passenger side quarter panel, and small dent on the upper rear quarter panel of the car, and a minor dent in a very small area on the driver quarter panel and hood. Dose not affect the hood mechanically, and it still lines up perfect and open/closes perfectly. The convertible top works in order, but the vinyl top dose have some wear, and could use replacing. However, it dose work, and dose not NEED to be replaced. Minor electric issue in the dashboard panel (happened while changing a speedometer bulb). Needs right header donut gasket and could use an alignment. This car Runs and operates absolutely beautifully, and with just a little TLC, she'd shine like a new diamond! She already dose shine for that matter! Steadily turning heads as she cruises down the road. If not for my current medical bills, I would not be selling this car! So I really hope to see it end up in the hands of someone who truly appreciates the car for the beautiful classic that it is. Only serious inquires please. Thank you. On Apr-10-12 at 22:24:53 PDT, seller added the following information:I've been asked this same question by numerous interested buyers, so I'm just going to add the answer to the main description. The body is very solid, and in general good condition. I've gone over the "dent" damage in my listing and cover it well in my pics. It only has a very very minor amount of surface rust in a few little areas. The expected areas. If the car has had any extra body work done at some point in the past prior to me owning it, they must have done a good job, because i am unaware of it and can not see any traces. Thanks
