Great Running 1987 BMW 325i Convertible - Just bought a restored 91 325i so this one is on auction Low original 81,900 Miles - Runs and Drives excellent - Clean and clear MD title. Nice Classic BMW - Tons of resources and owner community to help with any repairs or troubleshooting Selling at NO RESERVE 2.5L Six Cylinder Runs Great, No Leaks - Bulletproof engine and transmission, with proper maintenance should reach 250k+ without issue Inspected under lift, all bushings, brearings, CV joints etc in nice clean condition 5 Speed Manual shifts easily through all gears - excellent crisp brakes and parking brake All power works, windows, mirrors, wipers etc Convertible top approx 10 years old, has one patched break and some broken seams, fogged rear window. Overall fair condition, but could use replacement soon. Newer tires Falken Ziex 75% tread all around All suspension items, bushings, bearings in good condition Recently replaced transmission oil and rear differential oil Recently replaced fan clutch, warms up great and runs cool Upgraded instrument cluster with 91 circuit board (SI board) Stereo upgraded approx 2001, takes CD's with AUX input for ipod etc. Replaced exhaust back section but still needs one more rubber connector to be perfect Front seats show wear with splits and cracking, rear seats in good condition Recently replaced trunk seal Brand new battery, air filter, newer control arms and shocks Replaced fuel pump and sender unit Crack free dash, glass good all around Known issues: Paint shows clearcoat peeling and some minor cracking Very few paint dings, some minor damage where lower valence broke off on front (see pic) Possible electrical short, needs jump after sitting for 7+ days Seal between front and rear passenger windows damaged, allows water to leak in, replacement included but not installed AC non functional but complete, compressor and clutch work Power steering does not work, but not really an issue with 14" wheels, no effort over 5mph. Engine has slight oil burn expected with 25 years of age, about 1 qt per 1000 miles. Glove box removed due to broken latch, replacement salvage part included Brand new convertible top latch and cable, passenger side catch needs adjustment Manufactured 3/87, this car is 25 years old, its a great running and driving car but not perfect. It is sold as-is, but I have tried to describe it as accurately as possible, showing all of its great points and all of its flaws. I drove this car from DC to Minnesota last year without issue, and it will make someone a great ride. Test rides and inspections are welcome with adequate notice. I'm only selling this because I got a great deal on a 91 325i that's already been restored. I don't have room to properly store them both, so this is offered at No Reserve. Clutch feels good, engine runs strong.
