This is a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 5.9 24 valve diesel 4X4 Q-cab, long bed with only 91,500 miles. This engine's not even broken in yet. I've owned it for a little over 2 years and when I bought it, it needed an A/C unit so Rocky top Dodge dealership here in Knoxville installed a ( COMPLETE ) A/C unit last Nov.2011, While the dash board was out I instructed them to install a heater core as well and to replace all the light bulbs that could be reached. At or near that time I had all the brakes replaced and a new set of Michelin LTX A/S 265/70 R17's installed. I would say that there is at least 80% tire life left on them. This truck is equipped wiyh a 4.10 axle Ratio, payload is 2,240 lbs,Trailer weight is 11,300 lbs, The truck is rated a 6 CYL, 5.9 (360 CID) Turbo intercooled diesel W/a 4 speed auto trans, heavy duty vechicle. Peak Horsepower 235h.p/2700rpm, peak torque 460 lb-ft/1400 rpm. Brakes are anti-lock 4-wheel disc, transfer case is shift-on-the-fly,241, 35 gal fuel tank. This truck also comes with a factory tow package, the seats are 8 way power and this truck is equipped with a factory heavy-duty snow plow installation. Altho, no snow plow has ever been installed. The truck just came back from the shop, I had a bearing seal dripping on the front r- wheel so ( from the trip I just made ) I had them replace both front dif. seals, both front hub assembles, complete with all seals and bearings. The rear axle grease was changed along with the front axle and the transmission fluid was drained and replaced. All the U-joints on the 4X4 shaft as well as the rear shaft have been replaced. I have a 12 month warranty on parts and labor. I just came back from CT. pulling a flat bed trailer with a 74 vette on it and you had a hard time telling that you were even pulling anything. This truck is a true power house and it now has been completely serviced. This truck is ready to make you money or just to have a very dependable truck for any occasion. The previous owner reported a parking lot accident back in 2009 where someone backed into him. I inspected the truck and I believed him when he said that it was a minor accident. The cooling coils are there and you can tell where the bumper was pushed into them where it left a small dent plus the front grill has some minor damage to it. This truck is totally loaded; power seats w/lumbar system, power outside heated mirrors, tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows, power keyless door locks, outside temp, a very nice alpine stereo W/ cd player. The dash board is in great condition along with the interior. I would say that it rates a 9. I'm sure that I'm leaving alot out but this truck is a fly in and drive home kind of truck, everything works. I can pick you up at the Knoxville airport and drive it home. This truck is ready to go. This truck has also been lifted of about 8 inches higher than a normal height truck. It also comes with a factory tow package. It also has additional cooling coils for the oil and the transmission fluid in front of the radiator. one of the coils have recieved a small dent from that minor bumper tap in the parking lot. If you wish I can take this truck to a dodge dealership of your choice to have it checked over in this area at your expense, I've been using Rocky Top Dodge here in Knoxville and Ramsey automotive for the smaller stuff. I have changed the oil every 4 thousand miles and the fuel filter every other oil change.
