This turbo diesel not only rivals the MPG that hybrids offer, but also offers luxurious features combined with plenty of torque and power This car has had one family owner, my father bought it new and gave it to me at around 15,000 miles. It has no accidents or dents anywhere, always been garaged, never smoked in. Bought in Arizona, it was driven most of its life in California. Passat TDI's were not available in California during that time. This Passat was very well taken care of and boasts the original paint. We only used synthetic Shell Rotella oil since new as mandated and approved by VW. It has a Optima gel battery. If you are familiar with Optima, you will know that while they are expensive, their lifespan is about double that of a leadacid battery. This car is 100% stock except for the chrome rims, the Optima battery and iPod interface (which works great!). GLS options include moonroof, 3 integrated garage door openers, heated seats, tilt wheel, “Monsoon” stereo system, and fog lights.
