I have owned this 1998 323iS BMW since the summer of 2009. Before I owned it, the car was garage kept and only had a little over 47,000 miles on it. It has a straight 6 engine with an automatic transmission. There is a button to press allowing the driver to switch over to a manual transmission (without the clutch of course). It has a gauge that tells how many MPG you are getting. There are no leaks. The engine and transmission have no problems. It has a 6 disk CD changer located in the trunk. The A/C blows ice cold still. The car is in great condition on the inside and out. The red paint job still looks new, however there are some places such as the bumper that are faded and a couple other minor places where the paint is chipped. Most of these places are not noticeable. The windows are not tented, so the head rests in the back seat are cracking from sun damage. The radio only picks up a few strong signal stations, so you would need an aftermarket system put into the car. I have a 1968 coupe Mustang with a 289 cubic inch engine that I am about to put up for sale and I hate to admit it, but this BMW will run circles around the Mustang.
