Vehicle Detail

Here is your chance to get into a very well sorted, very fast early 911 for a reasonable price. Chassis number 9112100306 with its engine, 6120571. The previous owner was building an R-Gruppe style street machine with just enough track performance bits to have a blast at DE days but still drive it daily on the street. This 1972 Porsche 911T has benefitted from tens of thousands of dollars in performance enhancements. The owner was willing to spend money to make this car what he wanted, and we have a pile of receipts and paperwork to show this. The result is a very fast long hood 911 with excellent braking and handling. With all of the mechanicals sorted, his next step was styling the car to taste - now that is up to you. It looks great (and mean!) going down the road but the car is in need of a proper repaint. Originally Albert Blue, the car was repainted to its current red in the 1980s (we have the receipt).  The following work was done on the car in the past 15,000 miles: Engine built to 2.4 RS specs S cams S pistons and cylinders MFI rebuilt to S specs by famed Hans Utke of H&R Fuel Injection Kevlar clutch Sport exhaust Upgraded lighting Carrera front suspension and brakes w/ poly bushings Corner balancing S-type fender mounted oil cooler Carrera tensioner upgrade TRW cam lock harness setup for both seats Momo competition seats All of the work was performed by a well known Porsche race shop that has been building these cars for 40 years. The man in charge of this build is available to talk about the engine and upgrades. We've spoken to him at length and he remembers the car very well. This car has always been well serviced and maintained. The front bonnet even stays up without a prop (see pic). We have receipts going back to the 1970s showing the car serviced at Porsche dealers. This car's exterior is ready for a proper R-Gruppe style aesthetic. Unlike many 911 hot rods which suffered bolt on mods and rattle cans, the early bits of this car remain intact. The brightwork was not blacked out, no Carrera flares tacked on, and no Vitaloni Turbo 2 mirrors were installed. The original rear deck lid was never drilled for a Turbo tail nor had its emblems smoothed over.  The car looks great from 10 feet away, but needs some cosmetic TLC to be a show stopper. The fiberglass on the front spoiler has a crack at the bottom. There are numerous chips, and other anomalies in the body work. The paint was heated off the driver's rear fender when the previous owner tried to use larger tires, resulting in a 3-inch blemish. This is a southern car and the undercarriage shows it. Please see the photos taken on the lift and you can see how solid the underside of this 911 is. Please see photos of the interior -- lightness was added and the result is spartan. More lightness was added in the form of an RS style rear bumper. To replicate this car would put you near the $40,000 mark. This car can be had for a fraction of that price. It is ready to be enjoyed and driven hard as is, taken to DE events, or tweak the cosmetics to your liking and have the baddest 911 at your next meet up. Or see just the video here I am an Early 911S Registry member and an eBay seller with a feedback rating of 100%, so bid without worry.
