2001 BMW 5 Series 525i Automatic The Good: This is your chance to own a really nice BMW at a fraction of the price. Starts, Runs & Drives well. Good A/C - Ice cold air & Instant heat. Good LEATHER Interior. The brakes are fine. The transmission is good. Good tires and wheels. All the lights work. The radio/CD player and all speakers work as they should. All buttons and controls are present and intact. There are no electrical problems. She has a full size spare tire. The tags are current through November 2012. There are no cracks in the windshield. No Accidents. No Leaks. No Sounds. No smells. Only 2 owners. Already has been smogged and has passed smog check. I have Title in hand. The bad: The "check engine" light pops on occasionally; She needs a tune up and oil change. Sunroof motor hums but the gear has been stripped. The passenger side window hums but won't go down. The front bumper needs repair. It seems as though someone got the bumper caught onto something underneath upon backing up so the bumper's two screws got pulled out and there are two stress cracks in the bumper (nothing major). Small stress tear in the driver's seat - easily repaired. The back of the passenger side mirror is missing (but the mirror works perfectly fine). There is paint needed on the front left fender (priming done) the rest of the paint appears original. There is a smallish scrape on the back right side of the trunk which could be touched up. I have driven and observed this car myself and tried to let everything I noticed be known. Feel free to come see this great deal BEFORE bidding. This beautiful car is being sold as is.
