Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful example of a 1967 Ford F100 and there aren't too many of them out there this nice! This truck was built in 1967 at the Dallas, TX Ford plant, 2 owners, and is in very nice shape for it's age. I do have a copy of the original build sheet from Ford. The only thing that has been changed is that this truck was ordered with bucket seats (same ones that come in the Bronco and Mustang) but was converted to bench some years back. This little truck always starts right up and runs like a champ. I drive her 60+ miles from Keller to Arlington (round trip) several days per week. She never gets hot even in the summer time. She has the dealer installed oversized copper radiator and it does the trick, does not smoke, but does drip a little from the oil pan gasket. Kind of a whip to replace because you need to lift the engine above the cross member. I have not fooled with it but rather keep a drip pan in the garage and driveway. The leak isn't too bad. She doesn't burn any oil and will run all day long at 55...70 if you push her hard. 3.70 rear end. The engine is very quiet, starts right up and is very smooth. Transmission (3 on the tree) shifts very nice with no binding. (my wife drives her she is that easy) She originally had bed rails and one of those early huge tool boxes. All of that has since been removed and discarded. There is a little bit of surface rust in the bed as should be expected. I thought about having a spray in liner done but I didn't want to take anything away from the truck. The underside of her is very nice with little to no rust. There is some flaking on the driver's side floor board with a few small pin holes. The floorboards are very solid and are protected by the original rubber floor mat. Original floor mat is cracked as you could imagine after all these years but does the job none the less. There isn't any jicky wiring on this truck. It's all original. Everything works from the instrumentation to the hazard lights. It's all there and all doing it's job as designed. The paint was re-shot some years back (80's) and it shines like new and is hard to tell that it is not original after all this time. It is "drivers" quality and has been polished and buffed out. It looks very good for it's age but there are a number of rock chips and what not that have been touched up here and there over the years. There are a number of touched up chips on the upper part of the left side of the bed. I t's what I call a 20 footer. At 20 foot she looks like a million bucks. Up close, the paint is easy to find flaws. Then again it's a 1967, not a 2012. If you are looking for a beautiful SWB F100 that runs like a champ with no issues then give me a shout and come have a look. She gets a lot of looks and is a blast to drive! 1967 F100 Original 240 6 Cylinder 90K original miles Very little rust (1 small eraser sized bubble towards the bottom of the passenger side door) Typical pin holes in the driver's side floor board. Rebuilt front end New Clutch (complete) New Shocks New Brakes New master cylinder New battery New belts and hoses New Thermostat New water pump New fuel pump New drag links Orignal wheels and hubcaps New Wheel Bearings All trim in place Original rear bumper (flawless) New Exhaust NOS Carb NOS Cam (still in the box as a spare) NOS Distributor Spare tire All glass is in tact with all rubber Fuel tank flushed and sealed Split back window New fuel cap Heat works great! AC (underdash) has been converted to R134, needs new belt but I plan on putting on one when summer get here if I still have it. Alternator belt broke on 360 and I had to cut the AC belt to put the new alternator belt on. Original dash (cracked) but hides under a dash cover EVERYTHING WORKS!!!! No jicky switches, or wiring!!!!!! Original keys New NOS ignition switch in dash Period radio installed (correct one bought on ebay). I have not wired it up but it is installed. Original liner in glovebox Fresh air vents work Very nice headliner Interior lights work Windshield washer fluid bag and pump are there and both work as designed. She needs a new hose from the pump to the sprayers. Easy fix, never messed with it. This is the extent of her problems. Aged tires with some cracking but I'm still running them with plenty of tread and they look great. Aluminum ranch style mirrors (driver's side has a crack) Original 1967 Texas plates are still on the truck! Currently tagged and inspected Again, this is a driver's quality truck that is in great shape for her age! Feel free to call me if you have any questions about her. She is for sale locally and I reserve to right to end the auction should she sell prior to auction ending. I have attached a video below for your review. Thanks and happy bidding!
