"The Mighty IH" Quite a rare find, a very original 1970 International Harvester 3/4 ton, stepside, shortbed with All Wheel Drive. Not only that, it is nicely equipped from the factory with dual tanks, trailer brakes, A Warn winch, heavy duty winch bumper and Warn cockpit controls and Warn hubs. It has the largest V8 engine IH offered, the 345cu. Heavy duty step bumper, factory tie-rod guard, huge tool box and bed rail system. The truck also has a spotlight, gun rack, dual exhaust and brand new LT radial tires. In 1969, the original owner (an avid hunter) actually ordered two identical IH pickups equipped exactly the same, and still keeps the other pickup at his cabin in northern Arizona. Exterior condition- This old IH is in AMAZING original condition. Very straight, and solid and still wearing it's factory paint!!! A couple small teaspoon size dents here and there, No car accidents ever. The hood looks like someone once slammed the hood down with something on air cleaner, causing an upward dent. There is NOT 1 ding or dent anywhere on the whole back half of the truck???......a 3/4 ton truck!!! How does this happen?? Note: The paint is old and faded, but recently waxed for preservation. Interior condition- Even nicer than the exterior (see pictures), original rubber floormat, top half of the bench seat is original, dash pad is perfect. Perfect interior paint, chrome is nice, and all windows function nicely. Note: Am/Fm Stereo, but currently there is no kick panel speaker Undercarrige- suprisingly clean for a 42 year old truck. Straight, rust free, and minimal oil splatter. Tittle- Clean Box A Arizona title with 86,464 miles. She fires right up, looks great and is a blast to drive. The old patina look is in! This old girl always gets her respect sitting the Home Depot parking lot and also at the local car shows. You can easily restore this or any truck, but you can never bring back original. Please note: the windshield is cracked and there is the usual (for IH trucks) rust spots around the windshield (see pics), but otherwise rust free!
