2006 Smart Fortwo Passion CDI turbo-diesel for sale with only 19,000 miles. As opposed to the gas model which is lucky to get 45mpg, this diesel model achieves about 65mpg. It comfortably can travel at 75mpg but fuel efficiency does drop at the higher speeds. Also, this one has a 6 speed transmission as opposed to the 5 speed. Car is originally a Canadian model and along with the sale, a metal face-plate of the speedometer in miles will be sold with the car. Mechanically, there is not an issue with anything on this vehicle. Everything works as it should, however, all prospective buyers are encouraged to perform an inspection of the vehicle prior to buying. This is a Canadian "grey market" car. It is legally titled in the state of Ohio and registered there as well. I purchased it in New York, not Canada so I have no knowledge on how to purchase Canadian vehicles and bring them across the border. Please check with your state DMV prior to bidding to ensure it will be fine. Be sure to mention it is titled in Ohio. Also, insurance is very reasonable for this car. It is not really all that more expensive then my Volvo wagon. The car is currently located in Ohio but will be driving it cross-country Friday/Saturday/Sunday to San Diego, CA.
