2004 BMW R1150GS Adventure for sale. I'm the second owner, I purchased the bike from the original owner in November 2009. The bike has been well maintained, never crashed or dropped and always ridden on paved roads since new. Current mileage is just shy of 61,000. Clean title in hand. The Sargent aftermarket seat was bought new November 2011. Michelin Anakee 2 tires installed with only 40 miles on them. State inspection just completed February 2012. Front and rear Ohlins suspension upgrade was installed at 48,000 miles. The bike has heated grips, factory luggage, and ABS brakes. The bike has two minor existing problems. First, the fuel gauge intermittently shows empty with the fuel light on. The started happening in December so I have not investigated yet, but setting the trip meter at each fill up is a habit of mine anyway. Second, the factory fog lights have a short and are unplugged. When plugged in they pop a fuse. The previous owner worked with the dealer to find the cause but they were not successful. I have left them unplugged since buying the bike. Besides these two minor issues the bike is great and ready for any trip. I added the seat and tires with plans to keep the bike but some unexpected plans have changed things.
