I purchased this Jeep as a young Marine Lieutenant when I was stationed in Miami and we've made many great memories together. I'm now in graduate school and the Jeep is not being driven. Its with deep sorrow that I now list her for sale. She needs a forever home and I want to build a gym in my garage. I'd like to get moving on my new project so I've priced it on the low side based on blue book and comparables. This is a very clean 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ with the 4.0 six cylinder engine and an automatic transmission (its a much better performer than the four cylinder options). It has the entire line of Tuffy lock boxes which is something that I will really miss. They are three steel safes where you can secure your valuables (money, watch, purse, gun, passport, camera, etc) and that way even if you leave the top down or some thief were to cut through the soft top your valuables are still safe. Check out Tuffy products online. I'm a Recon Marine. I love utility. Therefore I have the Tuffy glove box, Tuffy center consule, and Tuffy rear trunk. I have them all keyed alike so all I need are two keys for the entire vehicle. She gets tons of compliments everywhere she goes and anyone whose been for a ride leaves with a smile. The Jeep has been babied her entire existence. She has been extremely well maintained and runs excellent. I will include the factory service manual with the sale ($200). The entire Jeep tub has been sprayed with duracoat bed liner. The interior then is totally waterproofed. If you have the top down and start to get a little sprinkle inside, no worries. No carpet inside to mildew. Its all sound proofed and water sealed with a sprayed on duracoat, the same material used in the back of pick up trucks. I did lots of research before modifying the suspension lift. I had it done in 2007. The suspension lift is a 4" Fab Tech and there is no body lift. It is the perfect blend between performance and drivability. It does look abnormal being driven on the city streets and urban jungle. It looks proportional to the height and size of the body and tires. She has never been off-road except for dirt roads in state and national parks. Jeep Wranglers are great vehicles. A cross between a compact car and a monster truck. They are easy to park and maneuver, decent on gas, awesome visibility, and convey a cool/ artsy/ tough image. Look around at comparable TJ's and I think this one stands above. It has been well maintained and has the right accessories. This would be a kids dream car, nice enough for a CEO's cabin car, great for the coast, or the urban jungle. I will reasonable assistance to the purchaser with organizing logistics for shipping upon receipt of payment. If you have the money, I'm sure we can figure out which company to use to get it to you. I do have some experience in this field. Ideally the new buyer will provide payment with certified bank check, then fly-in and drive it away a few days later. I will assist with any reasonable deviation from that plan. Whether its vehicle shipping or assisting the new owner with logistics here in Gainesville, Florida (If you were to fly in and then drive it home; Jacksonville and Orlando are also destinations within a few hours of Gainesville to fly into).
