Up for auction is my beautiful 2006 Ford Mustang Pony convertible. I am offering this car at a super LOW RESERVE OF $12,000. I bought this Mustang after my divorce in early 2007 practically new with 9K miles and it has been a super fun vehicle. I really do hate to part with it but my new family life is calling for me to have a suburban wood grain siding minivan, YUCK! Now back to the car...I test drove both the 2006 Mustang GT and Pony and saw little difference between the performance. I bought the Pony because it has almost all the same GT features and gas mileage is better at 21 around town and 27 highway. With the 5 speed automatic transmission, the engine performs flawlessly with more than enough power. Stopping is via 4 wheel disc brakes (ABS) and traction control. Driving position is extremely comfortable due to the 6 way power seat with side seat air bags. The seats are leather in a medium parchment color. The driver's seat is showing a little more wear than the other seats. It has super cold air conditioning, power convertible top, also a parchment color. The factory sound system has an unbelievable sound equipped with the 500 watt Shaker AM/FM audio system six CD changer. The Pony package also includes the "MY COLOR"dash light adjustment where you can customize the color dash back lights. I use the red color for summer and blue for winter. The Pony package has a GT-inspired suspension for a firmer suspension tuning featuring a larger front stabilizer bar, the addition of a rear stabilizer bar and P235/55ZR 17-inch tires on painted cast aluminum wheels with bright machined rims and unique tri-bar Pony center caps – the largest wheels and tires ever fitted to a V-6 Mustang. This give the vehicle a better ride and more stable handling. There are four new Firestone FireHawk GT Pursuit tires with approximately 2,500 miles. These tires were specially designed for law enforcement and high-speed emergency use. The Pony also comes with a customized "Pony" grille encompassing GT-model-like round fog lamps and a chrome bezel around the traditional Mustang prancing horse. My Mustang has always been garage kept. I changed her oil religiously every 3k miles. New battery and alternator(not rebuilt) were replaced with last summer. It has never been wrecked. As with any vehicle, she has a few chips as you can see in the picture and a piece of the driver side tape missing. So here it is a beautiful vehicle that runs drives and stops as it should.
