For sale is a 1942-1947 Ford COE. Not sure about the year. The truck is a four door with a ford flathead V8 (24 stud heads). Truck has been sitting for a long time, but overall pretty solid. Missing the left (drivers side) rear door. Rockers have rust, there is no grille and no headlight glass. The frame is solid but has no rear axle or wheels. It has had a bolt on trailer tongue installed for moving it around. Front axle is a straight axle with NO TURNING HUBS. From what I've been told this truck may have been used as a railcar that was specially made as a four door. I have not tried to start the engine but it looks to be complete with a transmission also in tact. There are no hoses on it though so I dont know how much water if any, has gotten into the motor. Heads say 59AB, and the generator, carb and intake are also there. The roof is in nice shape and the doors seem to be fairly decent. Would make a great project, rat rod, hot rod or car hauler! May be interested in trades, I'm into harleys, pre-50's cars and trucks or 4x4 vehicles. Now for the good stuff::: this truck is being sold as-is.
