This gorgeous old girl was stored in a garage here in Arizona for 19 years. A friend of mine bought it for his mother, and had an all new gas tank and lines installed before ever firing it up. While in this process his mother passed away, and I ended up buying it from him. The mileage is true 69,000. The pics of this car do not lie. If anything, they detract from the true condition. Starting on the outside: There are 4 tiny "parking lot" door dents on drivers door, all on bottom half. NO others anywhere. If there is any "bondo in this car, I can't find it, and I'm an old body man!!! The vinyl top does have some "checking", (see pic). The only rust spots I've seen are 3 surface rust spots. 2, where front fenders bolt to the front cowl (under the hood), and 1 where the driver door outer skin wraps around and meets the inner skin at that seam, (Bottom and inner of door). In both cases JUST surface rust. The Interior is in factory condition. Never smoked in, and all gauges ,levers, knobs, buttons, switches, locks, lights, and windows work as they should. Even the clock keeps the right time. ;o) Seats, headliner, interior panels and carpet are all in near factory condition. Under the hood, and drive train, Theonly thing I've found even questionable is a possible leaky power steering hose. (Not the High pressure one). The 5.0 liter (302 CI) engine purrs very quietly. The Overdrive Tranny shifts very smoothly through all gears. There are no leaks I can find anywhere but the mentioned power steering hose. (Which, if it leaks...it must be only if car is running). Has new Air Shocks on back. Has a brand new A/C compressor that will freeze you out of the car. Tires are so-so. I would have no problem driving locally on them, but if I were to plan a lengthy road trip, I would be putting 2 new on the front. Some of the clearcoat is starting to peel up, but base coat is fine. I'm putting a very reasonble reserve on this car. At the reserve price this car could even go in the everyday driver catagory. My opinion is that would be foolish...but then...it won't be mine anymore...right? All shipping arraingements, and costs are up to the Buyer!! Seller is offering NO warranty!! Buyer agrees to deposit 50% of selling price into Sellers PayPal account within 24 hours of end of Auction. Remainder to be paid within 10 days of end of auction, and car to be removed from sellers property within 30 days of end of auction.
