This is a 2000 SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS Project Car. The car was tuned for the Georgia State Highway Patrol by SLP Performance in Toms River, NJ. It also has the custom SLP exhuast and SLP Cold Air Box. An SLP car cover is included in the sale. This car does not run - it has a broken intake valve spring. I thought the timing chain had jumped, but that was not the case. The engine is currently disassembled in (the car) to the timing chain. I have NOT removed the rocker covers but I have replaced a valve spring in this car before - no big deal, just time for me to move on. The body is straight and dent/rust-free but the clear coat is peeling in a number of places. Drivers seat cover and seat padding need to be replaced (electric motors work). Drivers door hinge need to be replaced (door closes but sags - typical Camaro problem). Control cluster bezel needs to be replaced. Drivers door switch assy needs to be installed (have it). Passenger door handle panel need to be attached. Passenger door power window regulator needs to be installed (have it). Dash cover needs to be replaced. Right rear lamp assy is missing the turn signal lens. Passenger side head light works, but is glazed. Now the GOOD news: all four tires ( ) were replace in January 2011. The following items have been replaced in the past 2 years: power rack and pinion; alternator; power steering pump; alternator; all A/C hoses; A/C condenser; (4) mint condition black Z06 wheels; lower ball joints; driver's side head light.
