Vehicle Detail
Triton This is a beautiful example of a marriage between a Norton Frame (Slimline Featherbed – 1961 650 American chassis #1897909) and a vintage Triumph Engine (1969 TR6R 650, DU87336 with a 1970 Bonneville twin carb head). I’m the 2nd owner and 4th owner (as the 2nd owner it was still Norton powered). It has less than 200 miles on it from it’s current restoration. It has polished alloy engine plates and new very red urethane paint. I took it down to the frame and it has the following new parts/work: · New 650 cc Barrels and Pistons · New Head Gasket and valve job · Polished connecting rods, new oil pump · New Amal 930 Concentric Carbs · New Petcock and gas lines · New twist grip and air lever · New Alloy velocity stacks with screens · New Handlebars (non-export Atlas version) and Headlight · Rechromed Tank Badges · New Tachometer and tach cable · New Speedo, cable and speedo drive · New Clutch discs and springs · New Front springs and bushings · New Rear shocks · New Front Brake shoes · New Front and rear tires (Dunlop K-70’s) · New Front and Rear wheel rims · New Stainless Steel spokes · New Exhaust pipes and mufflers · New Boyer Electronic Ignition · New duplex ignition coil · New Electronic Regulator · All New control cables · All New Peg rubbers · New Battery (12 volt) · New Seat · New Rear Chain, drum & sprocket · New alloy tail light assembly I will include copies of all parts receipts with the bike. Runs like new (actually better than new with the electronic ignition). This bike has a clear Oregon Title (titled as a 1975 Assembled, the year the Triton conversion was first done by Cycle Engineering in Eugene, Oregon). Deposit of $500.00 within 24 hours of winning action is required, not refundable. Please do not bid if you do not intend to complete the transaction. Full payment must be completed in 7 days via PayPal. This bike is sold as is where is. Shipping to be arranged and paid for by buyer. I will help on this end. Look at the photos, and if you have any questions please ask before bidding, and I will be happy to answer them.
