Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevelle Concours Station Wagon DAILY DRIVER! NO RESERVE!!! High Bidder will own this car. Excellent Restoration Project, purchased from the second owner who had this car since 1978!!! We bought this car to restore for our daughter because it is a daily driver and very good choice for restoration, since then she got a vw van instead so we dont really need to take up the driveway space. We drove this car home (same city) it has very good tires and runs. It has oil leak in the front seal, motor was rebuilt a few years back and seal wasn't done right so the previous owner said he just watched the oil level. All the glass is good 12 bolt rear end original owners manual hood liner is missing front drivers side fenter has some different color paint, primer? or bondo...not sure??? and two spots on the hood. The original 350 was removed and replaced with the inline 6 cylinder so the a/c is not hooked up to the motor. This car is seriously a classic! Great for restoring and pulling your tear drop trailer for camping in the summer!!! (be sure to see my 1947 tear drop I just listed, its original not a replica) I am happy to answer any questions and or email more specific pictures. The buyer is responsible for picking car up. I suggest a trailer if its a long trip. we have only drove it locally and it will need some tlc. If you would like to call to ask questions (509) 947-0343 (Please no sales or marketing calls) I know many parts also fit El' Camino and 1972 chevelle (not station wagon) and a few others....so research details if you need partsOn Mar-09-12 at 16:51:26 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I added more pics of some of the typical rust areas such as; the spare tire area, bottom edges of side windpws, quarter panels, and fenders.
