Vehicle Detail
What you are looking at is what I would call a nice survivor. It's a nice 1972 Honda CB 350 with only 3942 miles. I have clear title in hand and in my name. This bike will make an easy restoration or a good detailing and a little work to get it on the road again. My intentions were to get it on the road again before selling it but with all my other bikes that I need to get done, I decided to stop and let this one go. I have cleaned and sealed the tank with Por-15 tank sealer. I completely rebuilt the fuel petcock with Honda parts. My next task was going to be the carbs but I didn't get to them yet. They will need to be gone thru. It will need a battery. Tires appear to be original or at least era correct with the low miles. Unfortunately, they will need to be replaced due to dry rotting. The bike rolls like a dream. As with any bike of this age, you would want to go thru and check wiring and connections and such. I will tell you, I've never had a 40 year old bike that had wiring in this nice of shape. It's not all brittle. Clean and pliable. I have 4 original keys, original owners manual still in it's plastic bag and under the seat. Seat is soft and not brittle. Has a small tear on right side. The exhaust system is really nice, not dented up, very minor pitting. The right pipe is rusted thru on the end. It's a shame since it all looks great other than that. Paint is not bad. There are some scuffs here and there and minor surface rust in a few spots as seen in pics. Sidecovers are in great shape with no broken tabs. The gauges look great as seen in the pic. The frame looks good, there is some rust here and there as to be expected. The rear rim has a bend in it. Doesn't show up in the pics but it's like somebody hit a pot hole with it or something. Don't know if it's an issue or not since I've not ridden it but rims are easy to come by if need be. Headlight bucket is not cracked like so many. Handlebars look great. Some of the chrome bolts here and there have some rust on them. They would clean and polish up to be presentable but most of those are still available thru Honda if you wanted it to look new. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but if I remember anything, I will add. This bike is sold as is with no warranties or returns. Please email me with any questions you may have or if you'd like a pic of anything in particular. Thanks for looking!
