Vehicle Detail

1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28, Black on Black, T-top, Less that 1,750 miles on a professionally built 350 small block that was bored .30 over and equipped with a Holly Street Dominator dual-plane aluminum intake and Holly carburetor, Speed-Pro hypereutectic pistons, Lunati cam and lifters and Holly aluminum cylinder heads all which produce around 425 hp and 425 foot pounds of torque. $5,500 + in receipts available on the engine alone in hand. New Flowmaster exhaust system $600 with receipt which sounds great . This car runs awesome and will certainly get your attention when it pulls second gear and as the RPM’s continue to climb. The car is an original Z28 and not a clone. The car is a southern car and there is no significant rust of any type in the body, floors or trunk. The paint job is in great shape and I would rate it at an 8.5 on a 10.0 scale. The car was painted in 2006 at a cost of $3,000. The original factory graphics were replaced at that time. There are some minor flaws in the paint but are difficult to find. This car is in great condition and has been garage stored. What makes this car unique is the custom interior that I installed. The interior is from a 2006 GTO. The front and rear seats are full grain black leather and are in perfect condition. The front seats are full 7 way power with lumbar support. They look and feel awesome. I replaced or restored the entire interior over the winter. You will attend a lot of car shows before you see another 2nd generation f-body with this interior package. I also had custom embroidered RECARO graphics in camel tan created for the front seats. I also had custom embroidered Z28 floor mats with the same color graphics created for the front. I have another $1,500 in the interior with receipts. This car is an awesome driver and turns a lot of heads wherever I go. Everything on the car works with the exception of the AC. I have already restored all of the lines behind the dash and have all of the brackets for the motor which I was going to have powder coated before installation. I have a core compressor that I will let go with the car. I estimate that the cost to make the AC operational will be around $1,000. The car has no major fluid leaks and the only thing I can find currently is a small leak coming off of the right valve cover after a long drive which I will pursue. If you are looking for a car to enjoy that is not a project, this is it. 2nd generation f-body cars continue to increase in value even in a challenged economy. This car is a sound investment that you can enjoy for years to come. There is a clean Georgia Title and I have lots of other goodies that will go with the car to include the original 1980 sales brochure, dealer post card and April 1980 Car and Driver magazine with the Z28 on the cover. I also have all of the receipts for the work referenced above. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. This car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason.
