This is a very nice Audi A4 1.8T with only 154,000 miles. Its quick and reliable and has just had $3400 worth of work done last month, including full timing belt service, so don't worry about that. It also has a new alternator and new headlight bulbs which I don't have paperwork for because I had my brother install it. The other morning the turbo failed as smoke started coming out of the exhaust. I know for a fact its the turbo because I had my mechanic professionally diagnose it. The smoke has a blue hue and smells like oil, it is not steam.... A good used turbo can be purchased for 350-450 dollars and it is only a 3 hour job. That comes out to about $600-$800 max to get the car going on the road again. The car does not leak any fluid. This isn't a very labor intensive repair. I have paperwork for all the work done and the diagnosis for the turbo. The front tires have about 50% tread remaining and the rear tires will need to be changed soon. The speakers don't sound good but they do work. There are a couple scratches on the rear bumper, a rip in the drivers seat, and the clear coat on the paint is coming off in certain places, but nothing substantial. Below are pictures showing these blemishes. The rest of the car is in great shape. I've been driving it for months without any problems until this happened. All the electronics work great. It has a multi-disc CD player mounted in the trunk, power locks, power mirrors, and a sun roof. Besides the one rip all of the other sears are in incredible shape. It has a sunroof and heated seats.
