***First off I have to say: If you don't have at least 10 positive feedback, CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BID so I can determine that you have the funds and are a serious buyer.*** There are alot of folks out there with no feedback but are good serious buyers so just contact me first. I have been burned too many times by people that say they didn't know what they were doing... I'll block you if you don't follow this simple rule, and I'm sorry I have to put this on here but I have to protect myself! Now on to the auction... This auction is for my 1998 GMC Savana 1500 Van with the Explorer Conversion. The exterior is very nice with no rust anywhere, the paint shines like new, and there are no dents or big scratches. The only damage is to the lower front bumper from the wife hitting a suitcase of all things! We live by the airport... Long story. But anyway, the damage is minimal and does not affect the van in any way besides cosmetically. The interior is leather and is very nice! There are no rips or tears anywhere and the carpet is nice also. It would benefit from a shampoo and detail for sure but rest assured it's pretty clean as it is. With a detail from a quality shop, the interior can look brand new. The front seats are power and both work fine. All of the fold down armrests are free of damage, still nice and tight and work well. It has all of the cool mood lighting in the walls and roof not to mention alot of courtesy lighting throughout and everything works as it should. All of the blinds are nice and undamaged which is rare! The glass is in excellent condition and both power windows operate like new. The rear seat folds down into a bed with a electric motor. It requires a little help to get it down into the bed position but it is because of the thickness of the upholstery, not due to any faults in the motor or mechanism itself. The original mini vacuum is still in it's factory location along with the on board air compressor and flash light. As far as accessories, It is equipped with power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and courtesy lighting which all work. The air conditioning blows nice and cold and the heater blows nice and hot! The in-dash stereo is the factory stock AM/FM stereo cassette player and it also has the factory 10 disc changer mounted in the back that works well. I replaced the CD changer a few months ago with a new one due to the original having error problems so it is new. It also has the rear stereo and fan controls for the rear passengers. All lights, turn signals etc. work as they should. The engine runs like new and the transmission shifts as it should. The transmission was recently rebuilt and has a 2 year 24000 mile warranty that can be transferred by an independent shop in Morton Illinois, so if you are a local buyer you could use the warranty if anything was to ever happen. It was rebuilt using all factory GM parts. I had it rebuilt when I first felt a slight slip as it would shift so the transmission was never damaged and still drove fine before the rebuild. The van only has 104850 miles on it and it rides and drives VERY nice with no pulling, shaking, or other bad habits. It's still nice and tight with no rattles or other annoying problems. The tires are nice BF Goodrich's and are still in good condition with at least 50% tread remaining. The van has always had the oil changed at 3000 miles and the tires rotated on schedule as well. The wheels are the factory Explorer Conversion mags and show their age but still look nice. They could probably be cleaned up to look like new again if you choose to. The only known problems are as follows: The side rear door lock doesn't work with the power locks for some reason. It works fine, but you have to lock and unlock it manually. Also the rear door lock is loose in the door panel but still works also. The front bumper-suitcase damage that I explained earlier, and a few nicks and scratches here and there, consistent with any vehicle that gets driven at all. Like I said, nothing major at all. Overall, the van is VERY nice and I would not be selling it if I didn't need to free up funds to pay some bills from a recent injury. I truly have nothing to hide with it and I also wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. If you are looking for a nice van then you have found it. This is a NO RESERVE auction so bid to own! I am the second owner of the vehicle and I still owe one last payment so their is still a lien from the bank. If I would have known it was going to show up like it did, I would have paid it off before I listed it. Regardless, rest assured that the loan on the van will be paid, the lien will be signed off, and I will have a clear title in hand before the winner picks up the vehicle.
