THE CLASSIC CAR GALLERY3266 Post Rd SOUTHPORT, CT 06890 Vin WP0EB0918HS160591 1987 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA TARGA The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this excellent, low mileage, 1987 Porsche 911 COUPE. We have been through this 66,100 mile car, and have found her to be in superb mechanical and cosmetic shape. She is in excellent condition, the low mileage is evident in every detail of the car. THE 1987 WAS THE FIRST YEAR OF THE G50 TRANSMISSION, AND THE HORSEPOWER WAS INCREASED TO 217.The car was driven sparingly over the past decade. We took her out, and fully serviced her. All fluids were changed, she was tuned (new plugs, valve cover gaskets etc), new battery, and the interior and exterior were fully detailed!!! The 3.2 liter 217 horsepower engine has great compression (175 lbs +- 5lbs), and runs as well as any 911 we have seen. The SILBER METALLIC paint is excellent, with deep shine and luster and shows few nicks or blemishes. She has nice black accents on the flanks, and has a very masculine look. The NAVY BLUE interior is in excellent condition as well, with no rips or tears in the leather, and only the mildest wear on the drivers seat bolster. The seats wore sheepskin covers for many years, and when they were removed they revealed leather in wonderful condition!!! All of the electric seat adjustments work as they should. The dash shows well with no stretching, shrinkage or cracks, and the WHITE FACED gauges show as new. The 5-Speed G50 Manual transmission shifts well, and the clutch operates and feels as it should. The air conditioning was serviced, and blows cold. This car shows no rust, and the underside shows the excellence that would be expected of a car that has never seen a winter, and almost no rain. All of the mechanical systems work as they should, and the car has a modern KENWOOD CD/STEREO, and an old school Navigation system. In addition, she has a built in K40 RADAR DETECTOR. The tires are almost new, and the wheels (from a Porsche 964) are in good condition (we do not have the originals). We have some RECORDS going back to the mid 90s, and a clean CARFAX.
