1989 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup Truck This Chevrolet Silverado listed here is in decent shape, but needs some attention. The pickup was used as a fleet vehicle by the Petersen Automotive Museum until it stopped working about 4 years ago. While the engine cranks over, it won’t start up and run. This Silverado retains its stock V8 engine with automatic transmission. The body (hood, doors, side panels) has a number of dents and scratches and it is missing the tailgate. However, we did put new Remington tires on it. The interior is in fairly good condition. The upholstery is intact with just a couple small tears, but it does need a new headliner. Additionally, it has air-conditioning, AM/FM radio and a cassette player. The Chevrolet is currently registered under PNO in the state of California and has a clear title. The buyer assumes the cost of and responsibility for registering the vehicle, including the payment of any required fees, if applicable.
