This 1974 Corvette Stingray With A Rare Rebuilt 350, 300 + HP 4 Speed Manual Transmission With Factory A/C, T-Tops And Power Steering. ( Someone asked if the engine drips any fluids, The underside is dry ) And also This is a very inexpensive car to have. You purchase One Antique Tag For As Long As You Own The Car ( There Is No Renewal Fee, At Least Not Here In TN. And The Ins For Me Is Only $220.00 A Year For Full Coverage. This is The Benefits Of Having a vintage Car. The Previous Owner Stated That The Engine Was Rebuilt About 4 Years Ago And That A Few Goodies Were Added; Cam, Intake, Carb ETC. It Runs nice And Strong And It's Reported That It's Now Pushing 300+HP. He said That He Invested About $ 4,800. Between the Rebuild, Replacing The Clutch And Changing Out The Dual Factory Exhaust System From The Manifolds Back To The Mufflers. He Also added A New Rear Split Bumper Which Cost $1,000. ( The 74's Were The Only Year That Offered a Split Rear Bumper.) The Front Bumper Still Needs To Be Replaced, You Can Buy Them On Ebay For Around $295. The Engine Goes Through All The Gears Very Smooth And With Ease. This Car Has A Very Strong Engine And It Can get Away From You Very Easy If Not Careful. Mechanically This Engine Seems Very Sound. I Just Changed The Oil And Filter Along With the Distributor Cap, Button And Plugs. However, Before Any Long Trips I Would Give It A Once Over. Belts, Hoses Etc. I Would Say That If Your Not Far From Knoxville,TN You Should Be Able To Make It Home With Ease. I Would Have a set of Belts & Hoses. They look good though. I Have Been Using It For A Weekend Driver To The Coffee House And Back And Maybe a Short Sunday trip to The Mountains because it's fun to drive on the curves or to A Nearby Car Show. But Lately It's Been Sitting. Between Winter And Other Projects, I Have Decided To Sell IT So That I Can Chrome Out My New Toy ( A Harley ). Living Here In Tennessee I Never Bothered Getting The A/C Unit Charged, The Hoses May Need to Be Replaced Altho They Look ok. Now For The Description Of The Car; The Paint Looks Good From About 20 feet Away, However, The Paint Has Many Flaws That Will Need To Be Addressed And The Body Has Some Chips That Will Need Attention. The Interior Looks ok For The Age Of The Car. This Whole Car Is Original Except For The Engine Rebuild. All The Gauges Work Except for The Clock, Radio And The Tach. The Head Lights Go Up And Down With Ease. The Head Lights And Tail Lights All Work. However, The Wiring As with Everything Else Should Have A Once Over. The Undercarriage Also Looks Good For The Age Of The Car. No Major Rust That I See Anywhere. The Car Is Very Straight But Does Need Some TLC. If You Can do Some Fiberglass Work Along with Some Interior Work and a Fresh Paint Job, You Would Have A Very Nice Everyday Driver And a very fun Car to Drive. I Have The Engine Running Strong But I Can't Confirm That It's A #'s Matching Car. Good Luck On Bidding. $500.
