2003 Audi RS6 The Audi RS6 quattro, commonly referred to as the RS6, is the highest performing version, and top-of-the-line specification of the Audi A6, positioned above the Audi S6. It is a mid-size sports-focused executive car, produced by the high performance private subsidiary company quattro GmbH, for Audi AG. The RS6's epicenter is a twin-turbocharged and intercooled 4.2L all-alloy V-8 that belts out the aforementioned 450 hp in U.S. trim. The torque curve is Texas-wide and flat: 415 lb-ft, constant from 1950 to 5600 revs. The only trans offered is a five-speed Tiptronic automatic, programmed for quicker, firmer shifts, and managed via steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. Instant torque and all-wheel drive conspire to hammer this big car to 60mph in 4.6 seconds. Hardware upgrades continue in the form of Brembo huge vented disc brakes (eight-piston calipers up front!), a handling-oriented suspension, an innovative Dynamic Damping Control, and all-wheel drive, of course. You'll recognize the RS6 via its aggressive front and rear fascias, satin alloy trim, bulging wheel arches, and handsome 18-in. rolling stock. Nappa leather-trimmed AudiSport seats and a wood trim highlight a comfortable, feature-packed cabin. Limited production for only one year!!! My Audi RS6 is 1 of 860 delivered to the U.S market in 2003. Completely stock, no modifications and there have never been any on it. Only 63K miles!
