Hello and welcome to my auction. I have 3 different ads of various years Volkswagen Super beetle convertibles that are going to be offered with the choice of paint color , interior color ,convertible top and headliner color ,carpet color and everything checked and replaced if needed. All the major componants such as brakes ,steering,motor,tranmission,clutch will be all new or rebuilt. Please do not let the pictures fool you these cars do not take that long to redo and I have 1 opening left so once one sells the other 2 ads will be ended because I want paid as much as you want the car I only work on 2 cars at a time . Normal completion is 6 to 8 weeks but if everything is in stock and white or black I can finish the cars in 4 weeks with no problem. I have everything ready to go and I have convertible tops in white or black and I have interior on my shelf but you can still get all different kinds of colors and there is usually not a delay but I did run into a black canvas top that took sometime and a blue vinyl top for a guy from Nashville took longer then expected but in my opinion was well worth the wait and a great color combination I have seen is tan seats and door panels and oatmeal carpet . Also white seat covers and door panels with either oatmeal or black look very nice also. You can email me for all different color combinations prior to bidding such as anything as crazy as red seats,yellow door panels and red carpet .It's up to you and have it your way. Alright next , New front windshield with all new seals front and back are installed. New tail lights,turn signals,chrome moldings,mirror, running boards and bumpers front and back (the 73-79 bumpers have been discontinued and I am one of the few people that have brand new ones) I also replaced the cv joints ,tranmission mounts,shifter lever,pedal clusters making this a excellent running beetle convertible. I go all over California picking up good California rust free bodies and I walk away from many because even though they are California cars not all are rust free. I check door gaps for sagging, I check the structural supports for these convertibles to make sure these are safe and if they are not I simply do not buy them and spend thousands just on fuel and hotel rooms looking at cars I end up walking away from. The 3 I am offering on seperate auctions were from Fresno,Bay area and Los Angeles so you can see I go everywhere and please check out not only my feedback but my youtube videos. Last lets finish up by letting you know there will be new tires, new paint that will be of show and shine quality with minor imperfections to be expected but of course no runs ,dents or dings. The kind of car you could take to a local car show or cruise night and fit right in. The engine is a 1600 cc carburated motor unless you request different. These engines I get are freshy built using brand new parts and new heads and not a rering kit for $16.00. These engines my cost are over $1,000 and have to give a core. I put new spark plugs,wires,alternator, coil , fan belt and it is as good as it was the day it left the factory or it won't leave. If you do check out my feedback and videos I think you can rest at ease knowing I am someone that does this for a living and is not "getting rid of the car" . I have heard horror stories where someone buys a $5,000.00 project and the motor blows before it even gets off the trailer or who knows what. Half is due once buy it now is hit 48 hours after auctions end by bank wire transfer or bank certified funds over nighted. If you are one that likes to use paypal I can take up to $2,500.00 but you will need to pay the fee's paypal charges. I receive half not minus paypal fee's. You will receive detailed pictures as we restore the car of the parts that we order and before final payment the vehicle is pictured and videoed running and driving and sent to you . After oking the pictures and video final payment must be sent within 48 hours . The title will be sent once all monies have been collected over nighted the moment the money hits my bank. This is not for everyone, some need the car finished to buy and can not wait but even if you bought the car finished it is it is only March with several months before summer and god only knows what is under the paint that are already finished . I strip all of the paint off to bare metal and use etching primer ,primers,sealers and quality paint and last with 5 dollar a gallon fuel you will not buy a project for this price by years end. 4 years ago when gas prices were getting close to $5.00 I was selling these beetles here locally for $8,000.00 with no work done and those will be the prices again I'm pretty sure. Have a great classic convertible that gets close to 40 mpg and have a blast.
