NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Great project for a Road Runner station wagon. Hard to find since most have been scrapped or cannibalized for Road Runner front grill, bumper and fenders. Only around 2,500 produced of this 6 seat style and I'm sure less than 100 left survive today. When looking for photos on the internet you will only find about a dozen that have been restored. And they are show stoppers that get as much or more attention than more expensive muscle cars. Call or text with questions 417-850-1972. The car is from Southeast Kansas (Columbus, KS). Had two owners before it was retired as a daily driver. A guy from Springfield Missouri purchased it about 12 years ago, but could not get around starting it as a project. I purchased it 2 years ago, and same for me, other project to complete (a Dodge Demon project for my 14 year old daughter before she turns 16). Any way the wagon did not have the motor or tranny when I got it but have since pulled a 318 and tranny out of a 68 satellite wagon and bolted in place. This was an engine that ran and drove before pulling it out out and placing into the 1970 wagon thats for sale. The engine was pulled from one car and bolted into the other the same day. Nothing else has been done to get it running in the car it's in, just stabbed in and bolted to the motor mounts. The car has set for about 15 years most of the time in a barn. It's located now in Northeast Oklahoma (Miami, OK). Very solid car, NOT a rust bucket! Only rust through is behind the drivers seat where water sat on the carpet. Other wise rails, and underneath very solid. I will add more comments as questions come up. TITLE IS CLEAN OKLAHOMA title. On Feb-29-12 at 05:37:19 PST, seller added the following information: Hello, Bidders and watchers! We have almost 200 watchers on this unique vehicle. I wanted to list some additional information about this car. Again this is a no reserve auction! If this car were to be parted out Left fender ($250-$400), Right fender ($250-$400), Grill and bumper ($300-$400) and then sold for scrap weight $300. The value is about $1000-$1500.BUT WE DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN. I think we all would like this to be restored and enjoyed again. We can assist with getting loaded on a transport if needed. You would have to make those arrangments with transport company, ALSO HOLDING THE CAR AFTER PAID IN FULL IS NOT A PROBLEM. 2-3 months is OK. Also if the car goes above $2000 I will throw in some parts that I have collected for this. A set of black door panels, 2 front and 2 rear doors. They would be perfect to black our the interior are are good driver condition, they came out of a 69 wagon and I paid $100. Also I have a NOS rear tail light (one) I paid $70, it's still new in the original box! Other wise they can be purchased for my cost after the auction. I have the glove box door this will be included.Front bench seat is in the car but I disassembled it removed last summer to clean it up and look for the build sheet, could not find one. Rear end is 8-1/4Drum brake all the way aroundIt's an A/C car (plan on finding parts to make complete again)The car had a unique feature listed on the fender tag, a "SPOTLIGHT", no longer with the car but easy to add back if desired.Any of the lower trim is not with the car, however a smooth look would be the look you would want anyway. No keys, none came with it when I purchased.Door glass is very good, doors open and close real well and windows roll up and down good.CLEAN TITLE, It was just updated last fall, ready to go! THANKS TO ALL AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!On Mar-04-12 at 15:23:41 PST, seller added the following information: Hello final updated photos - I'm unable to post any other photos to the auction. I think 165,172 would be more acurate. But I can only state that I do not no the true miles. I put 100,001 in the auction just because I'm sure it has past that mark.
