Hello and thanks for looking.. This is a NO RESERVE auction for my 1987 GMC 2500 Suburban with the 50th anniversary Ducks Unlimited conversion by Starcraft. I recently bought a newer pickup and just don't drive the "duck truck" much anymore. Not a lot of info out there on these but there is another seller on ebay that is selling sales brochures for these. Located in Leon, IA. (1 hour south of Des Moines, 2 hrs north of Kansas City) The Good: It Has a 350 c.i. fuel injected engine. Automatic transmission. Odometer shows 31,9XX miles. ( I assume that is 131,9XX) This is a solid old truck that runs good. I bought this beast about a year ago and have had the brakes fixed (new lines and master cylinder), fuel lines fixed, and new exhaust put on. The Bad: I know it needs an air conditioner compresser. Also the power steering lines have a very small leak. The windshield and driver's side long rear window are both cracked. There are a few places where the headliner is coming down. I'm sure a can of spray adhesive would fix it. There is some rust on the body (above the wheel wells) and in the bottom of the back barn door frame. Also slight surface rust on back barn doors. The Awesome: The exterior is painted dark brown and light brown with the starcraft flying duck graphics. The interior is what makes this Suburban VERY unique. Original DU camo fabric covers the front captians chairs, rear bench seat, headliner and rear lockable gun cases in the back. Wooden console between front seats that origianally had a TV in it to view from the bench seat. The bench seat also folds down into a bed!! Overhead console has a newer CD player. There is a Built in CB Radio (doesn't work)... and of course a wooden duck call for the gear shift... This would make an awesome hunting rig or if someone wanted to restore a rare Suburban.
