This 1990 Ford Mustang SSP 'Highway Patrol - Police' P40 model has never been used in law enforcement service. It is powered by 5.0 V8 High Output with an automatic transmission. It has the proper SSP Police Package factory options including: relocated trunk release, ground straps, 160 MPH calibrated speedometer, reinforced floor pans. It comes with TWO factory 'buck tags'. These buck tags are important because they prove the authenticity of a real SSP Mustang. Except for brake rotors and spark plugs its just the way it came from the Ford factory in 1990. Instead of a long drawn out story I will give you a brief history. Please ask any and all questions. This 1990 Mustang black SSP was ordered in 1990 but NEVER put in offical service and not used by any Police force. It was sold to an East Coast collector in the mid 1990's. This owner put approximately 20,000 miles on this black SSP. While he owned it he did not like the quality of the factory paint and had it repainted. The paint looks factory and nearly perfect to this day. It was then sold to a Minnesota collector in 1998. The Minnesota owner put another 40,000 miles on the SSP in summer weather with long drives to USA car shows and events. He maintained the car extremely well with proper fluid changes, cleaning and detailing. It still looks, drives and smells like new. This SSP does not look, drive or feel like it has 63,000 miles. You will be not be disappointed in the quality of this SSP Mustang.
