Car was purchased by me in September 2007 from Laurel BMW in Westmont, IL. All service was done by Laurel through the warranty period, after which service was done by Fluid Motor Union in Plainfield, IL. The car was originally purchased as a company vehicle for an Executive in my local business. Once the initial 3-year employee term expired, the vehicle was taken back, and driven by me personally. I prefer a little more 'flair' than the stock BMW offered, and handed the keys over to Fluid Motor Union. The following modifications were done: H & R Coil Overs were installed, allowing the ride height to be adjusted. Advan Wheels (Black) in 20" Diameter (ADV1 FlowSpec) were purchased Continental DWS Tires (Rear: 265/30ZR20) and (Front: 225/35ZR20) 335 Caliper and Rotor Upgrade. Painted Calipers Yellow Cold Air Intake Blacked Out all Chrome Trim, including: Front Grill, Side Windows Surrounds Removed Rear Badging Added Custom Exhaust Tips (to stock exhaust) Tinted Windows (Rear, ALL Sides) WeatherTech Floor Liners (Front and Rear) Over $ 8000 was spent on the upgrades. I have driven this car year round' in Chicago winters. I purchased new WHEELS and MICHELIN Winter Tires this year. If you know anything about Chicago weather this year, you know that they weren't used very much. I love this car! I have owned Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes and Corvette, but have had MORE attention driving this little car more than any of the others. This car has had ZERO engines mods, and I kindly refer to the car as a 'POSER'. That's what has been so much fun. It is sinister looking, and most people don't even know what it is. It's time to move on, as I have ordered a 2012 CTS-V Coupe, and will have fun with future mods to that car. I have the original wheels, and they will be sold with the car, along with original suspension parts and standard intake. The winter wheels/tires can be purchased for an additional $ 1,500.00 if interested. What I didn't realize, was that there was a 5-year / 100,000 mile extended 'MAINTENANCE' warranty on the car. Not only did they change the oil and filter, but replaced the air filter and wiper blades. This warranty also covers brake pads and rotors. NO CHARGE FOR ALL OF THESE WEAR PARTS! The warranty is in effect until 8-31-2012 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty is transferable, and stays with the car.
