you are bidding on the pictured 1978 cj7 jeep. I purchased this a couple weeks ago and have loved this truck. However a fellow mudder is offering me his k10 after years of hassling him to sell. Not enough room in the garage so this one needs to go. According to the previous owner he has owned this truck about 9 years while he was stationed at fort bragg NC. He drove it to Indiana when he was relocated. This was his daily driver around the base. This Cj has less than 58K on the odometer. Heat, fuel gauge, voltmeter, oil pressure, lights, turn signals, speedometer all work. Does not have wiper arms or radio installed. newer 31" super swamper tires and cragar rims. front locking hubs are newer. 4x4 works. 3 speed manual trans shifts smoothly and does not slip. Clutch is good. I drove this cj7 about 3 hours from southern Indiana at 70-80mph without any problems. I have also taken it to work a dozen times on nicer days and around town. Manual steering and manual brakes but she stops nicely. She starts up right away and runs well. Has a headman custom header and newer exhaust with a cherry bomb muffler installed. Softop is about 6 years old as per the previous owner. The driver side door latch works but needs a spring or bolt to work correctly. Comes with Brand new shift knob, glove box, valve cover gasket, spark plug wires, cup holder. Truck is not perfect show car but runs well and is a lot of fun. $300 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours auctions end. Would be happy in assisting buyer in transport of the vehicle but full payment must be made and vehicle must be picked up within one week of auctions end.
