This 1966 Pontiac GTO coupe project / parts car is being sold as is. The car was purchased in 2006 as a basket case (disassembled and in pieces). The frame and body was sandblasted and work began to replace body panels. The car has been kept in a heated garage the entire time since purchased in 2006. No work has been completed on the car since 2008. The car is for sale because I no longer have the time to complete the restoration. Originally, the car had a 389 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor and an automatic transmission. The original color scheme was a black exterior and black interior. After purchase of the car, the PHS (Pontiac Historic Services) Report was ordered and is included in the sale. Items included are as follows: -A 389 engine block which was cleaned, bored, and pressure tested (pictured above, wrapped in cellophane plastic). -A 326 engine block (pictured above, NOT wrapped in cellophane plastic). -Manual transmission (see pictures) -Two fuel tanks. -New sheet metal panels (trunk pans, driver's side quarter panel). -Old sheet metal panels (3 front fender panels - right, left, and extra) -Chrome trim pieces -Bumpers (rough finish, dented) -Rims with bad tires (see pictures) -Service Manual -Other items are in boxes, not everything is pictured. ***Mileage listed above is not accurate - 100,000 miles was listed simply because mileage is a required field. Actual mileage is unknown. Since this car was purchased as a basket case (disassembled, in pieces), I cannot guarantee all the pieces to complete the car are included. For instance, no front windshield or radiator could be found in the parts. Other parts may not be suitable for a quality restoration. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. CASH UPON PICK UP.
