Original 1971 Plymouth Road Runner - not a clone VIN: RM23HIGI90970 This is a NO-RESERVE Auction - the highest bidder gets the car To the best of my knowledge: This is an original California Car. The car was fully restored 2 years ago. After restoration the car found his new owner in SW Florida. The Road Runner was only driven on weekends to local car shows and was always kept in the garage. The Plymouth is in beautiful condition. The paint job was professionally done. The car was dissembled when it got painted. There are no signs of paint on the trim, chrome, door handle, etc.. The paint has a very nice shine without any orange peel. All glass is good without any cracks. The chrome looks new without any nicks or scratches. It just looks great. The interior is also in very good condition. There is one small crack on the dashboard but other than that there are no signs of any rips or stains. It looks like brand new. The engine compartment is detailed and as clean as it gets. The undercarriage and the trunk look fantastic without any visible signs of rust. The Road Runner is equipped with the 340cui 4 barrel - 275HP engine. Nada.com rates this engine even more desirable than the 383cui engine. There are no known problems with the engine or tranny. The engine has plenty of power and runs perfectly. It is a pleasure to drive the Road Runner. The car has following options: A/C (needs to be recharged) disc brakes in the front, P/S, P/B. All the gauges and lights are in working order. This in not the usual "20 footer". In my opinion this car is very close to show condition or would make a very presentable weekend driver.
