Famous for its durable farm equipment, International Harvester also made quality trucks for decades. In 1957 International Harvester celebrated fifty years in the truck business with the special edition “Golden Jubilee” pickup truck. I purchased this truck a couple months ago and replaced the fuel pump and got the truck in excelent running condition. There is nothing wrong with the motor or transmission on this truck.WHAT IT DOES NEED: as you can see truck needs some minor body work on the bed, paint, the seat could be replaced. The windshield has a crack in it and it needs a passanger side glass (there is plexi glas in it right now). I am using a boat gas tank right now and it works fine but I do have the original gas tank if you want to use it but it is rusted. the tires are going to need to be replaced sooner or later but they do hold air now. The brake lines need to be replaced because they are stopped up and the brakes are not functioning right now. I did put a new master cylinder in and it works fine. The truck comes with a bill of sale from me and the owner that I purchased it from. The truck will need a battery as well. It will crank and run if I jump the old battery off. if you just want a cool old truck to ride around in then you could have this truck on the road for CHEAP! This truck is not junk, it is a great project truck and I wish I had the time to fix it. I hate to see it sitting in the yard and we're in a bind for money so I have no other choice than to sell my dream. You can call or text me at 601-938-7423.
