I have up for the highest bidder a 1993 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. This car has the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. I am listing this car for my Uncle; he has had the car for probably 7 or 8 years and has used it very little. I put tags and insurance on the car about 2 months ago because I wanted to drive it and make sure that everything was ok before I tried to sell it. The only problem that I found was the front seal on the transmission was leaking so I took it to a local shop and had the seal replaced. They also went ahead and changed the filter and put new fluid in it, I also put a new fuel pump in it because it had gotten very loud I have found no further problems. I have driven the car a couple of thousand miles and it now has 118,405 on it. The car runs and drives good and everything works as it should. I did check the undercarriage while I had it up putting in the fuel pump and it is very clean no rust found. The paint is in good condition with very minimal chips or dings. The interior is pretty much flawless with the exception of the pockets on the door bottoms are a little saggy. The top is in good condition as well it just needs a little cleaning. I have looked at this and I think what happened was when I went to DMV they put 174XXX miles when actually the odometer read 174XX miles. This vehicle only has the 6 didget speedometer so it trips over when it has over a hundred thousand but does not show the 1. I am going back to the DMV to try and get this straight but want to assure you the mileage has not been tampered with and the speedometer does work.
