For sale is this 1967 Corvair Corsa with a 140 engine and saginaw 4-speed transmission. This car has been sitting for several years although always covered or in a garage. It does have some rust in the lower corner in front of the driver's door and in the very rear of the body. Nothing major. Otherwise a solid car. The 140 motor has had two of the carbs removed and capped off. It also appears to have air conditioning although not bolted on at this time. I noticed an aftermarket sway bar in the rear as well as a lower control arm lowering bracket. The car has some aftermarket seats and the rest of the interior is rough. I may have the original seats (which I will look for). It has a corsa dash with all gauges. The car has not been registered for years so it is not in the DMV database. I have the pink slip in hand. Buyer is responsible for shipping. On Feb-14-12 at 13:17:34 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THIS CAR CAN NOT BE A CORSA MODEL DUE TO THE YEAR. I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS A 500 AND PROBABLY CONVERTED TO A CORSA MODEL. ONE PERSON TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS THE 622ND CAR BUILT IN 1967. ANOTHER PER SAID SINCE THE CAR IS ONE OF THE FIRST FOR THAT YEAR, THE CORSA STUFF AND/OR EVEN THE 140 COULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED AS LEFTOVER ITEMS FROM THE 1966 MODEL. I DON'T KNOW IF ANY OF THIS IS POSSIBLE, JUST WANTED TO CLEAR THE AIR. AS BEFORE, THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO GUARANTEES OF ITS' ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET - THANKS
